Our Sourcing Standards:
Where Quality Begins
Every product at GlobalTrust RX originates from a carefully vetted network of WHO-GMP certified Indian pharmaceutical manufacturers — the same facilities that supply generics to the US, UK, EU, and 200+ countries worldwide.
India: The World's Pharmacy
India's pharmaceutical industry is the world's largest producer of generic medications by volume, responsible for over 20% of global generic drug exports. The country supplies more than 40% of US generic drug demand and approximately 25% of all medicines used in the United Kingdom.
This is not a coincidence — it is the result of decades of investment in pharmaceutical manufacturing infrastructure, rigorous regulatory oversight by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), and a deep pool of world-class pharmaceutical scientists and engineers.
When you order from GlobalTrust RX, you are accessing the same manufacturing ecosystem that supplies Walgreens, CVS, and major US hospital networks with generic medications every day.

How We Vet Every Manufacturing Partner
We do not work with every manufacturer — only those that meet our strict multi-stage qualification criteria. Here is exactly how a facility earns a place in our supply chain.
Initial Certification Screening
Every prospective manufacturing partner must hold a current WHO-GMP certification issued within the past two years. We also review ISO 9001:2015 status and any USFDA, UK MHRA, or EMA audit history. Facilities that have received FDA warning letters in the preceding 36 months are automatically disqualified.
Document & Quality Record Review
Our quality assurance team conducts a thorough desk audit of the manufacturer's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), and stability data. We verify that in-process and finished product testing protocols meet or exceed international pharmacopeial standards (USP, BP, IP).
Third-Party Laboratory Testing
Before any product is listed in our catalog, samples are dispatched to an accredited independent laboratory for testing of active ingredient potency, dissolution rate, purity, microbiological contamination, and heavy metal content. Only products that pass all benchmarks are approved for sale.
Ongoing Compliance Monitoring
Supplier relationships are not "set and forget." We conduct annual re-qualification reviews, monitor CDSCO and WHO regulatory databases for any adverse actions, and reserve the right to suspend a supplier immediately upon discovery of any quality deviation or regulatory issue.
Understanding GMP Certifications & What They Mean
WHO-GMP
The World Health Organization's Good Manufacturing Practice certification is the gold standard for pharmaceutical quality systems internationally. It governs facility design, equipment validation, personnel training, process controls, documentation, and quality testing — ensuring every batch meets predefined specifications.
US FDA Registration
Over 3,000 pharmaceutical facilities in India are registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) — more than any other country outside the US itself. Our preferred partners hold current FDA Establishment Registrations, reflecting their commitment to meeting the world's most stringent regulatory requirements.
ISO 9001:2015
The ISO 9001 quality management system standard ensures that our manufacturing partners operate within a structured framework for continuous improvement, customer focus, and risk-based quality control — across all operational areas, not just the laboratory.
Certificate of Analysis (CoA)
A CoA is a batch-specific document issued by the quality control laboratory confirming that a product meets its registered specifications. GlobalTrust RX can provide CoAs for any product in our catalog upon customer request — full transparency is central to our trust model.
Pharmacopeial Standards
Our products are tested against the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), British Pharmacopoeia (BP), and Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP) monographs — internationally recognized references that define the purity, potency, and quality characteristics required of pharmaceutical-grade substances.
CDSCO Oversight
India's Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) regulates the manufacture, import, and distribution of pharmaceuticals. Our partner facilities are fully licensed under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and comply with Schedule M GMP requirements mandated by Indian law.
The GlobalTrust RX Quality Promise
We believe affordable healthcare should never mean compromised quality. Our sourcing standards exist to ensure every product that arrives at your door is exactly what it claims to be — manufactured to the same standards as the most expensive brand-name medications in the world.
